A new website reveals Toronto’s parking ticket hotspots, including the areas motorists are most likely to get dinged for parking illegally.
ParkInToronto.com is a searchable database where drivers can enter their date, time and location and see if it’s worth the risk to park.
Sunnybrook hospital, on Bayview Avenue, is the most-ticketed spot. According to the website, nearly 50,000 tickets were handed out there.
Other bad spots for drivers include Seneca College’s Newnham Campus and near the World’s Biggest Bookstore.
According to ParkInToronto’s website, the data visualizations are based on nearly 14 million parking tickets issued in the City of Toronto between 2008 and 2012.
A mobile app, Redcurb, is planned soon, according to developer Module 17. The company is planning to create mobile apps for iOS and Android.
