Toronto real estate is expensive: the average condo price was $430,000 in July, while the average price of a standalone house was about $645,000.
However, it’s still possible to buy a home for under $250,000.
The asking price for a home on Hanson Street, located in the Coxwell and Danforth avenue area, is just $229,000.
However, the catch is that the house is tiny — very tiny. It’s approximately 200 square feet (roughly the size of a tool shed) and has no running water, parking or backyard.
“Cute And Cozy. Detached Oasis In The Heart Of The City. Cheaper Than A Condo, This Detached Gem Is Steps Away [from] The Subway And Minutes From The Beach,” the online sales listing reads.
Open houses are scheduled for this weekend.
