A nine-year-old girl has a broken ankle after she landed outside a bouncy castle at the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) on Thursday.
The girl landed on the pavement.
The attraction remains open after passing a safety inspection, but extra safety measures – in this case, protective mats – have been added.
The Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) is monitoring the situation.
The CNE is also dealing with a Toronto Public Health (TPH) investigation after nearly 100 people became ill after eating at The Ex.
TPH is expected to provided an update later Friday.
