Tractor-trailer rollover partially blocks EB Hwy. 401 in Whitby

A tractor-trailer rollover blocked the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 at Thickson Road in Whitby on Tuesday morning, police say.
The truck hit a guardrail and rolled over into a ditch, spilling about 800 litres of fuel and debris shortly before 7 a.m.
All eastbound lanes were closed until one left lane reopened at about 8:30 a.m. Two other lanes were expected to reopen around noon, the OPP said.
Workers from the Ministry of Environment were on their way to clean up the spill
The driver of the truck was treated for minor injuries.
