Worker seriously injured in midtown industrial accident

The Ministry of Labour is investigating a serious industrial accident in midtown near Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue West on Monday morning.
Police tell CityNews a worker fell off some scaffolding inside a building, and suffered serious head injuries.
His was unconscious and without vital signs when paramedics arrived at 484 Oriole Pky. just after 11 a.m., but has been revived and now has a pulse.
He remains in hospital in critical condition.
In a separate incident, a man was injured when he fell off a roof on Kane Avenue near Eglinton Avenue and Keele Street.
It happened shortly after 12:30 p.m. Monday.
The man was taken to hospital with several broken bones.
