One person is in hospital after a garbage truck and an 18-wheeler crashed on Tuesday morning in Scarborough.
It appears both drivers were turning from the eastbound lanes of Eglinton Avenue East south onto Bermondsey Road around 7 a.m.
The driver of the 18-wheeler may not have seen the garbage truck on its right-hand side and the two vehicles collided.
The driver of the garbage truck was taken to hospital and the truck was being towed away.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was uninjured and was able to drive the somewhat damaged vehicle away from the crash.
