Man shot in head near Martin Grove & Eglinton

A 25-year-old man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was shot in the head early Tuesday morning.
It happened on Willowridge Road, near Martin Grove Road and Eglinton Avenue West, around 1 a.m.
The victim was planning to get married, Det. Ted Lioumanis said.
“He has a couple of years in the country. He is from Namibia…and belongs to a local church. He is very well-respected in the community,” Lioumanis said.
He was sitting in his car when he was shot.
No arrests have been made.
The homicide squad is investigating.
