‘Smash & grab’ robberies hit Mississauga & Yorkville

Police are investigating two separate “smash and grab” robberies in Mississauga and Yorkville.
Peel police were called to a motorcycle apparel store on Dixie Road, near The Queensway, just before 2 a.m.
Officers believe the thieves drove a vehicle into the store and made off with a “large quantity” of items.
No arrests have been made.
Toronto police are looking for a white BMW after a similar robbery in Yorkville.
Officers say thieves uses a hammer to break into the Prada store on Bloor Street near Avenue Road before 3 a.m.
Two people were seen running from the store, carrying clothing.
No arrests have been made.
Correction: It was earlier reported that a vehicle was used to break into the Prada store.
