Public’s help needed after cyclist killed in Ajax

A cyclist was struck and killed in Ajax on Friday morning, Durham police say.

The victim was riding a 21-speed Trek bicycle when he was hit by a vehicle at 6:30 a.m. He was crossing Audley Road South between Keywood and Bayly East streets when the incident occurred. Weather was not a factor in the crash.

Police need the public’s help because the victim didn’t have identification on him.

He’s described as five-foot-11, brown skin with an average build. He was wearing a white jacket with a red stripe, black T-shirt, pants and grey running shoes.
