Pedestrian killed on Cooksville train tracks

Peel police are investigating after a person was killed on the train tracks east of Cooksville Go Station on Wednesday morning.
The age and gender of the victim are not yet known.
Police say the person was struck by a freight train near Hurontario and Dundas streets in Mississauga just before 1 a.m.
Trains were getting through, police said, but at a slow rate of speed.
