Friendly hockey face off between Toronto police officers and G20 activists

Toronto police officers and a squad of activists will play each other in an exhibition hockey game at the old Maple Leaf Gardens.

The two teams will face off Saturday in an attempt to bridge the divide between the police and activists following the G20 Riots in 2010.

But the game is not without its opponents.

The National Post reports some activists say the game is insulting to those who were injured in the riots.

The Canadian Civil Liberties Association is hosting the game at the Mattamy Athletic Centre at 5 p.m

There will also be a panel discussion after the game at the 519 Church Street Community Centre.
