3 in hospital after overnight attacks in the GTA

Three people are in hospital after separate stabbings in the GTA early Saturday morning.
Around 2:20 a.m., a 31-year-old man was seriously hurt in a fight on Maurice Court, near Yonge Street and Davis Drive in Newmarket.
Police say the man was taken to a trauma centre in Toronto and will survive.
They’ve arrested another man, 32, who faces attempted murder charges.
Then around 3:30 a.m., a 23-year-old man was stabbed in the chest and stomach during a fight near Queen Street West and Spadina Avenue in downtown Toronto.
He is in life-threatening condition at St. Michael’s Hospital.
Police say around the same time a 20-year-old man was stabbed on Spadina Avenue, just south of College. His injuries are minor.
