1 dead, 1 injured after van hits disabled truck on Hwy. 400

A 60-year-old man is dead and another person is in hospital after a van struck a disabled truck Highway 400.
OPP say the truck was in the northbound lanes of the 400 near Sheppard Avenue when a van crashed the back of it Sunday afternoon.
Both the driver and the passenger of the van were transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The passenger succumb to his injuries in hospital.
The driver of the truck did not sustain any injuries.
Three right lanes of the 400 northbound were closed for over an hour while police conducted their investigation.
