Toronto cop faces impaired driving charges

A Toronto police officer is accused of driving while intoxicated.
The off-duty officer was in a single-car crash on the Gardiner Expressway, east of Dufferin Street, on Monday at 4 a.m., police said in a release on Tuesday.
Const. Enis Egeli, 26, who works at 13 Division and has been with the force for four years, was charged with impaired driving and operating a vehicle with a blood-alcohol level over 80 mg.
He was scheduled for an appearance at the Old City Hall courthouse on Tuesday morning.
