Suspects sought in York Region shooting

York Regional Police are searching for a suspect or suspects after a young man was taken to hospital with gunshot wounds early on Tuesday morning.
His injuries are not life-threatening.
Toronto Police said witnesses reported seeing two vehicles heading south on Highway 50 near Steeles Avenue. The people in one vehicle allegedly fired several shots at the other vehicle around 12:15 a.m.
York police found shell casings at the scene.
Descriptions of the suspects and vehicles have not been released.
