A vigil will be held for a two-year-old girl who died at a public housing building owned by the Toronto Community Housing Corp.
A relative told CityNews the vigil will be held at 200 Wellesley St. E. in downtown at 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
Paramedics were called to the building around 9 a.m. on Friday by a 17-year-old girl who was babysitting the toddler. The child wasn’t breathing when paramedics arrived.
An autopsy was scheduled for Monday but there was no word yet on a cause of death.
No charges have been laid and the police investigation continues.
