Beyoncé endorses Toronto girls’ cover of ‘Pretty Hurts’

Two Toronto girls got the Beyoncé bump when the superstar posted their cover of Pretty Hurts to her official Facebook page.
On Jan. 5, cousins Haley and Mckenzie Small posted a video to YouTube of themselves performing the song. Eleven days later the video was posted on Beyoncé’s Facebook page with the comment “Love it Haley and Mckenzie!”
And the views started rolling in.
“Our video just hit 100,000 views thanks to Beyoncé and all of our lovely supporters! So exciting!!,” said Haley on her YouTube page Jan. 16.
By Saturday the count was more than 200,000 views and climbing.

“I thought this song was perfect for us being that we are both young females dealing with the pressures of social media and the expectations of society as most are! Hope you enjoy!” said Haley when she posted the video.
Earlier this month Beyoncé promoted another fan cover of the song by sisters Chloe and Halle Bailey.
