Man arrested on drug charges after pelting Barrie pub with snowballs

A 41-year-old man is in custody on drug charges after he drew attention to himself by throwing snowballs at a pub in downtown Barrie.

Police said they were called to the bar on Friday night because the man had been pelting the windows with snowballs.

While searching the man, whom officers described as “agitated,” they allegedly found several baggies of illegal drugs.

He was arrested for causing a disturbance, possession of narcotics, possession for the purpose of trafficking narcotics and breaching his probation.

He is in jail awaiting a bail hearing.
