An OPP officer was hurt while responding to a crash on Highway 410 in Brampton on Saturday morning.
The officer was sitting in a parked cruiser at the crash site south of Clark Boulevard, when two other vehicles hit the cruiser.
Paramedics took the officer to hospital with minor head injuries.
No one in the other vehicles was hurt.
Police said the drivers of those vehicles will be charged under the Highway Traffic Act.
The act requires drivers to slow down and change lanes if possible when passing an emergency vehicle parked on the side of the highway with its lights flashing.
