Man found dead in Uxbridge home was murdered: police

Durham police are investigating the region’s second homicide of 2014 after a man was found dead in an Uxbridge home early Friday morning.

The victim has been identified as Richard Morrison, 26, of Uxbridge.

Durham officers said around 6:30 a.m., they were called about a sudden death in a home on Galloway Crescent, near Brock Street West and Concession Road 6.

When they arrived, they found Morrison’s body with signs of trauma.

Police say Morrison lived at the residence and he was found by another resident.

No arrests have been made.
