Man charged in fatal shooting near Don Mills & Eglinton

A 28-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter in connection with the shooting death of a woman.
On Saturday police were called to an apartment building on St. Dennis Drive, in the Don Mills Road and Eglinton Avenue East area.
Paramedics say the victim suffered a single gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
She has been identified as Vilanong Douangphachanh, 26, of Toronto.
The suspect, Achint Ranhotra, was taken into police custody at the scene.
There has been no word on the relationship between the victim and the suspect, or the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
