A man was held at gunpoint and handcuffed while his puppy was stolen near Jane Street and Weston Road on Tuesday.
Around 10 p.m., the man was walking the three-month-old dog near Jane Street and Weston Road, when two men approached.
Police said one of the suspects pulled out a gun and pointed it at the victim’s stomach, handcuffing him.
The suspects allegedly took the man’s BlackBerry, gold chain and dog, before fleeing in a getaway car.
On Thursday, officers released two photos of the animal, a Labrador Corso named Onyx, who has two white spots on its chest.
One of the suspects is black with dark skin, about six feet tall and bald. He was wearing a black toque, black bandana and black pants.
The other is black, five-foot-five to five-foot-six, and was wearing a black sweater, sweatpants, a toque and a bandana with a print resembling small marijuana leaves.
