Woman in hospital after Oshawa house fire

A woman was rushed to hospital after a house fire in Oshawa on Friday morning.
Durham police tell CityNews the 47-year-old woman was without vital signs when firefighters pulled her from the home on Grenfell Street, near Highway 401 and Park Road South.
The woman suffered smoke inhalation as well as burns and is in serious condition.
There’s no word yet on the cause of the fire.
