Yahoo Canada creates bingo card for CityVote Toronto mayoral debate

Bike lanes? Check. Scarborough subway? Check. Add a few more hot-button issues – and a mention of Doug Ford – and you’ve got bingo.

Yahoo Canada has created a bingo card for Wednesday night’s CityVote mayoral debate, allowing viewers to follow along with all the buzzwords and catchphrases that are sure to come up.

“Gravy train,” a favourite phrase of incumbent mayor Rob Ford, makes an appearance – and so does crack.

Get five in a row and that’s a bingo. Players can choose their own prizes (Yahoo doesn’t specify whether the bingo card doubles as a drinking game) and, once the debate is over, can vote for the real winner when Toronto heads to the polls on Oct. 27.

Ford will face off against Olivia Chow, David Soknacki, Karen Stintz and John Tory in the debate. It all begins at 5 p.m. Watch it live on City, CityNews.ca/live, the CityNews app or 680News.com/livevideo.

Check out the card below. What would you add to the bingo card? Let us know in the comments and vote in our poll.
