Missing Mississauga boy found safe after Amber Alert

An eight-year-old boy who was the focus of an Amber Alert search on Monday has been found safe in Vaughan, Peel police told 680News.
Police said the boy’s father dropped him off for a visit with his mother around 10 a.m. on Sunday. The visit happened on Mississauga Valley Boulevard.
When the father contacted the mother, who does not have custody of the boy, around 5 p.m., she allegedly refused to return him.
An Amber Alert was issued after 10 a.m. Monday.
