Britney Spears extends Vegas run at Planet Hollywood

Pop star Britney Spears isn’t ready to say goodbye to Las Vegas just yet.

The singer has extended her contract with Planet Hollywood for her show Britney: Piece of Me.

According to reports, Caesars Entertainment offered the singer $12 million to continue her reign at Planet Hollywood’s Axis Theatre until December 2016.

That means Spears is adding more than 30 dates to her Las Vegas show, and will play additional shows in August and September, and then October through December.

After that, she’ll take a short break and return to the Vegas stage in February 2015.

Caesars Palace president Gary Selesner told the Daily News that Spears has been a great success for the company.

Spears reportedly earned $30 million from her current two-year deal, which began late in 2013.

Officials with the Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort & Casino said the first round of her shows for August and September has already sold out.
