A driver was taken into custody early Thursday morning after he crashed into a pole and landed in the yard of a west-end police station.
Around 1:30 a.m., the man was driving south on Allen Road when he crossed a number of lanes, took out some sand barrels and hit a light pole.
The car then continued into the yard of Toronto Police Service’s 13 Division at Eglinton Road West.
Paramedics took the driver to hospital with minor injuries.
Police are investigating and said they are considering alcohol as a factor.
