Mississauga firefighters battled a fire at an industrial building near Pearson airport for several hours Tuesday afternoon.
The fire broke out at a scrapyard on Romani Court at Britannia Road East and Dixie Road around 4:30 p.m.
Heavy smoke forced Pearson Airport to temporarily shutdown one of its runways.
There have been no reported injuries, fire officials say.
More than a dozen cars in the yard were destroyed.

The Ministry of the Environment was called in because of potentially dangerous materials at the facility.
