Suspect sought in deadly double shooting in Vaughan

Police in York Region are looking for a Toronto man believed to be responsible for a deadly double shooting in Vaughan on Friday.

Around 6:45 p.m., police got a call about gunshots at a cafe on Woodstream Boulevard, in an industrial area near Highway 7 and Martin Grove Road.

They said two men had been shot. A 36-year-old Nobleton man named Sarhad Sadiq died at the cafe, while the other was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

David Odesho, 24, is wanted for first-degree murder and attempted murder. He is white, five-foot-nine, 249 pounds, with a heavy build, black hair and brown eyes. He should not be approached as he may be armed.

Detectives are also looking for a white, foor-door 2012 Mazda 3 seen leaving the area at the time of the shootings. See a similar car pictured below.
