Mississauga neighbourhood targeted by thieves

Thieves have been busy in one Mississauga neighbourhood, as six homes in the same area were broken into on Friday.

Police say burglars have targeted unlocked homes in the Credit Pointe area, snatching electronic items.

A total of thirteen homes in that same neighbourhood have been robbed since April and police are advising homeowners to lock their doors and windows.

Since most of the break-ins have occurred at night, police are also telling people to leave on a light outside their doors.

Anyone with information about the thefts is being asked to talk to Peel police or to call Crime Stoppers.
