Police release new video in unsolved Vaughan double homicide

Investigators have a new clue that they are hoping could help crack the case of a double murder from almost a year ago in Vaughan.
Saturday marks the one year since suspected mob hitman Salvatore Calautti and associate James Tusek were gunned down outside the Terrace Banquet Centre on Creditstone Road, near Rutherford Road and Jane Street.
Police said the men were shot while they were sitting in a black BMW vehicle outside the hall in the parking lot.
The security video below captured an image of a white van around the same time the two Toronto men were killed.
Detectives are trying to find out who was in the van and are asking anyone with information to contact York Regional Police at 1-866-876-5423, ext. 7865, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
