Toronto police are investigating after a threat was made against Rob Ford on Monday, the mayor’s office confirms.
Two police officers in uniform were seen going into the mayor’s office at city hall on Tuesday to interview the staff member who received the threat.
A spokesperson for Ford wouldn’t go into detail, but said they take all of the threats seriously.
The spokesman said protocol is to err on the side of caution.
In February, the mayor’s office contacted police about a threat made against Ford.
