Suspect arrested after man stabbed at Weston Road restaurant

Toronto police have one suspect in custody after a man was stabbed in the neck at a restaurant on Sunday night.
A 27-year-old man was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was stabbed at the Weston Station Restaurant, located near Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue West.
Doctors at Sunnybrook Health Science Centre credited a police officer with saving the victim’s life.
The officer was the first person on scene around 10 p.m. Sunday. He applied pressure to stem the flow of blood until the ambulance arrived.
Christopher Goodfellow, 35, of Toronto, was charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
