Police are investigating whether two break-ins at Best Buy stores in the Greater Toronto Area are related.

Thieves broke into an Oakville store near Winston Churchill Boulevard and Dundas Street West at around 9 p.m. on Sunday, making off with a large quantity of electronic goods.

Surveillance video from the scene shows several suspects and vehicles were involved.

Around 10:30 p.m. the same night, a Best Buy near Highway 427 and the Queensway in Etobicoke was targeted.

Police, along with a canine unit, gave chase to one suspect, but the suspects eluded police.

Police have not said if anything was taken from the Etobicoke store.

There is no suspect description in either case at this time.
