Severe thunderstorm watch ended for Halton & Peel regions

Environment Canada has ended a severe thunderstorm watch for parts of the GTA, including Halton, Peel, and Hamilton.
The forecaster had warned the storms had the potential to cause strong winds, large hail, and heavy rain.
The following regions were under the watch:
- London – Middlesex
- Oxford – Brant
- City of Hamilton
- Halton – Peel
- Listowel – Milverton – northern Perth County
- Guelph – Erin – southern Wellington County
- Stratford – Mitchell – southern Perth County
- Kitchener – Cambridge – Region of Waterloo
A severe thunderstorm warning is in also in effect for the following areas:
- Woodstock – Tillsonburg – Oxford County
