Chrysler recalls 16,000 Jeep and Dodge SUVs in Canada

Chrysler is recalling over 230,000 Jeep and Dodge sport utility vehicles globally to fix an issue with the fuel pump that could cause the vehicles to stall or not start.

Reuters reports the recall is for 2011 model year Jeep Grand Cherokees and Dodge Durangos.

The automaker said it’s not aware of any accidents or injuries related to the issue.

The recall covers around 188,000 SUVs sold in the United States, 16,000 in Canada, 7,100 in Mexico and 19,000 outside of North America.

Chrysler said customers will receive details on when they can schedule a service call.
