Two men have been arrested in connection with the beating death of a 40-year-old man.
Police said Jorge Interiano was found with life-threatening injuries around 2:30 a.m. on Aug. 30 in the Bloor Street West and Ossington Avenue area.
He was taken to St. Michael’s Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
On Tuesday police arrested Ronny Pulido, 29, and Gabriel Cameron, 22, both of Toronto, and charged them with second-degree murder.
Police said they believe the two suspects became involved in a fight with Interiano the day he was attacked. At this point, it’s unknown if they knew the victim.
Investigators are still unclear about a motive as well.
The homicide was Toronto’s 28th of the year.
