Police search for 2 suspects in Mississauga home invasion

Peel police are searching for two suspects after a daylight home invasion in Mississauga.

Police say on Sept. 22 around 10:15 a.m. a woman was outside her home on Teeswater Road, near Finch Avenue and Highway 427, when two men approached her asking for money.

When she refused, they allegedly forced her inside her home, where they stole jewellery before taking off on foot.

Police describe one suspect as Sri Lankan, 25 to 30 years old, five-feet nine-inches, 230 to 250 pounds with a heavy build, short black hair and acne scars on the right side of his face.

The second suspect is described as white, 25 to 30 years old, five-feet 10-inches to six-feet tall with short dirty blonde hair, a slim build and severe facial acne.

Police say the victim was not seriously hurt in the attack.
