A 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death in 2010 during a high school fight in Oshawa.
His killer, Jacques ‘Junior’ Amakon, has been released from prison and now lives in a halfway house in the same community.
He says he wishes either of them had decided to back away from the fight that day and hopes his story can teach others that violence is not the answer.
However, the victim’s mother says she doesn’t think her anger will ever go away.
