2 men charged in headbutting incident at Vaughan wedding

Two Toronto men are facing charges after a headbutting incident at a wedding reception in Vaughan that left a teen with serious injuries.

A 14-year-old boy was working at a banquet hall on Nov. 8 when he asked some guests outside the front doors to head back inside with their alcohol.

Police say the teen was then assaulted by one of the guests, who headbutted the victim.

The boy was taken to hospital.

Police had released surveillance video of the alleged assault.

York police arrested the two men without incident on Thursday.

Sameen Fatah, 22, is charged with assault and assault causing bodily harm. He is scheduled to appear at a bail hearing in Newmarket on Nov. 28.

Omaid Fatah, 19, is charged with accessory after the fact. His court appearance is scheduled for Jan. 8, 2015, also in Newmarket.
