Car, tractor-trailer collide in Brampton

A man is in hospital with serious injuries after being thrown from a car when it collided with a tractor-trailer.
It happened just before 1 a.m. on Wednesday on Steeles Avenue at Torbram Road in Brampton.
Police believe alcohol may have been a factor, Const. George Tudos said.
The road was closed until about 5:45 a.m. while police investigated.
