Two men were sent to hospital after separate stabbing incidents in the city on Christmas Eve.
The first happened just before 2 a.m. in the Vaughan Road and St. Clair Avenue area.
Police say a fight broke out between two tenants of an apartment building.
One man in his 40s was sent to hospital with a stab wound in the chest. He was listed in stable condition.
Police took one man into custody.
A second stabbing occurred just before 3 a.m. in the Bloor Street and Runnymede Road area.
A man in his 30s was stabbed in the arm and sent to hospital in stable condition.
A suspect is still outstanding, police said.
