Woman seriously injured as cab, car collide at Keele and Lawrence

One woman was rushed to hospital in serious condition after a cab and car collided at Keele Street and Lawrence Avenue West on Friday morning.
Three other people were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Paramedics began working on the injured woman while she was in the cab before firefighters had to extract her from the wreck.
The collision occurred just before 4 a.m.
Police had closed off the area to motorists, but the roads reopened around 5 a.m.
At around 6:30 a.m., a head-on collision occurred in the southbound lanes of Keele at Maple Leaf Drive, north of Lawrence. One person received minor injuries.
