An elderly woman has been hospitalized with serious injuries after a hit-and-run in Brampton, Peel police say.
The 82-year-old victim was struck at Brickyard Way and Main Street North, near Williams Parkway, at 2:20 p.m. on Tuesday.
The female driver of the vehicle who is in her 20s fled the scene. Police are looking for what they believe is a dark-coloured Honda Accord, with damage to the driver’s side.
The suspect is described as black with hair in loose braids.
