Male dies after found bleeding from neck in Parkdale

Toronto police are investigating a suspicious death in the Parkdale area where a man was found bleeding from his neck.

Police were called to May Robinson Apartments Supportive Housing at 25 West Lodge Avenue, located near Lansdowne Avenue and Queen Street West, at around 11:20 a.m. on Monday.

Police told 680News there was a fire alarm going off and someone went into the man’s unit to see if he was OK.

That person found the man with a slash wound to his neck, and called 911.

The man, in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police can’t say yet if it’s a homicide case.
