Toronto lawyer arrested at Brampton courthouse, charged with drug offences

Peel police arrested a Toronto lawyer at a courthouse in Brampton on Thursday morning.
Laura Liscio, 32, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession for the purpose, trafficking, obstructing justice, and breach of trust. She’ll appear in court in Brampton on March 12, 2015.
In a release, police allege Liscio smuggled drugs into the courthouse.
CityNews contacted her office, which refused to comment.
