Windsor man, 47, struck and killed in East Gwillimbury

A 47-year-old man died after being hit by two vehicles in East Gwillimbury on Thursday morning, York Regional Police said.
It happened on Highway 11, south of Canal Road, just before 6 a.m.
The man was struck by a northbound car, thrown onto the road, and then hit by a southbound pickup truck.
The victim died at the scene.
The drivers weren’t injured.
Police said the area will be closed until 3 p.m. for the investigation.
