Man charged with assaulting sex-trade workers

Police have arrested a Toronto man in connection with a sexual assault and robbery investigation in North York.

Police say a man targeted a group of women working in the sex-trade industry in January and February of this year.

It’s alleged the man arranged dates with women, sexually assaulted them and also committed several armed robberies.

O’Neil Forrester, 19, of Toronto, was arrested and charged on Wednesday.

He is charged with numerous offences, including four counts of sexual assault and two counts of forcible confinement.

Police believe there may be other victims.
