The March Break exodus is on at Pearson airport.
It’s one of the busiest times of the year for air travel with more than 115,000 eager travellers who can’t wait to get out of dodge.
By 6:30 a.m., delays of 1 to 2 hours were reported at the Peace Bridge in Fort Erie.
For those staying in town, 680News meteorologist Jill Taylor tells said the weather isn’t going to be Florida-like, but it won’t feel like the Arctic either.
Taylor is calling for temperatures slightly above the average 4 C expected this time of year, with a few days spiking around 8 or 9 C.
“The main thing is no major weather systems are moving in if you’re sticking around the Toronto area,” Taylor said.
Although, snow is not completely out of the realm of possibility. Taylor said it could be an issue next Friday and Saturday just as spring arrives next week.
