Impaired driving charge laid after ice cream truck crashes into Brampton home

Police are investigating a case of a late night ice cream run gone bad in Brampton.
A 33-year-old man was charged with impaired driving after an ice cream truck crashed into a house on Travis Crescent, in the area of Bovaird Drive West and Chinguacousy Road, Peel police say.
The truck also hit a number of cars along the way.
The suspect had minor injuries.
Mugunthan Ratnasiningam of Missisauga has been charged with operating while impaired and refusing a breath sample.
He’s due in court on May 27.
